FLUXUS |
The Fluxus programs of the Maulwerker include approximately 20-30 works by artists who belonged to the Fluxus movement in the 1960s. The selection of the works depends on the audience situation, which can take place either as a concert (stage and auditorium with seats) or as an intervention in an exhibition, a foyer or in public space. The entire duration is flexible, but usually covers a period of 1 - 2 hours. The programme consists of solo performances (some of which are performed simultaneously) and ensemble pieces.
Since 1999 the ensemble has performed and collaborated with several Fluxus artists:
with Emmett Willams (1999-2006), Alison Knowles (2008) and Ben Patterson (2012). The repertoire of the pieces has thus been expanded to include more recent works.
